As of October 1st, 2007 I have opened my own Consulting Firm for the Mechanical Industry. My specialties are in code compliance and smoke control systems. Some of the projects that I have been involved in are as follows:

CONTRACTING WORK
VAV Systems
VAV systems are designed to supply only the volume of conditioned air to a space that is needed to satisfy the load. Fan energy is saved when the volume of air handled by the fan is reduced. Air volume control is accomplished by installing modulating dampers, or in some cases, an air valve, in the supply duct to each zone. As the room temperature demand becomes satisfied, the thermostat signals the damper to move the supply air zone valve toward the closed position.
Cooling Towers
A cooling tower is a heat rejection device, which extracts waste heat to the atmosphere though the cooling of a water stream to a lower temperature. Common applications for cooling towers are providing cooled water for air-conditioning, manufacturing and electric power generation.
Chillers
Closed loop industrial chillers recirculate a clean coolant or clean water with condition addititives at a constant temperature and pressure to increase the stability and reproducibility of water-cooled machines and instruments. The water flows from the chiller to the application’s point of use and back.
Condensers
The condenser coils are tubes to carry the refrigerant through so it can be cooled. All condenser coils applied on stainless steel units are supplied with stainless steel casings. In addition to the coil casing, our various fin and tube combinations provide flexibility for wide fin spacing.

An air handler, or air handling unit and often abbreviated to AHU, is a device used as part of a heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system
